1. Who we are

The Website is operated by ServVia Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India and recognised as a startup by DPIIT ("ServVia", "we", "us", or "our"). Our full company details are at the end of this page.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we receive when you visit the Website or contact us, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the rights you have.

2. Privacy at a glance

• The Website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not load third-party scripts or fonts.
• The Request a call form does not send anything to us or store anything on the Website. It only prepares an email in your own email app. Nothing reaches us unless you choose to send that email, and you can edit it first.
• We use what you send us only to reply, to talk about your project, and, if you work with us, to deliver it.
• We never sell your information or add you to marketing lists.
• You can ask us at any time to see or delete what we hold about you.

3. Information we process

3.1 Information you send us

If you send us the email prepared by the Request a call form, or write to us directly, we receive what it contains. That is usually your name, email address and phone number, and may include your company name, what you need, a good time to call and details of your project. We also keep our replies and notes from any calls.

3.2 Technical information

Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical request data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of each request, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. We do not use this data to identify you.

3.3 What we do not collect

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers or fingerprinting on the Website. We do not ask for sensitive personal data in enquiries; please do not send us health or financial information through the Request a call form.

4. How we use information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange the call you asked for.
• To understand your project and prepare a scope and quote.
• If you engage us, to deliver the work under the separate agreement we make with you.
• To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as accounting and tax records.
• To keep the Website secure and protect it from abuse.

5. Legal basis

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process the information you send us on the basis of the consent you give when you agree to be contacted and send us your enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to contact@servvia.in; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. We may also process information where the law requires or permits it, for example to comply with legal obligations.

If the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on your consent, on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, on performing a contract with you, on our legitimate interests in running and securing the Website, and on complying with legal obligations.

6. Who information is shared with

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with:

• Zoho, which hosts our email, including contact@servvia.in.
• Vercel, which hosts the Website.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.
• A buyer or successor, if ServVia is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its business or assets; this Policy will continue to apply to your information.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose, or sooner if you ask. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards as long as the law requires, for example for accounting and tax.

8. Where information is processed

Our email is hosted with Zoho's India service. The Website is served from Vercel's global network, so technical request data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, these providers use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Security

The Website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, with strict security settings that block third-party scripts. Because the Website has no forms that store data and no database of visitors, there is nothing on it to leak. Our email accounts are protected with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct and erase your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict its processing. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, these include the rights to grievance redressal and to nominate someone to exercise your rights. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@servvia.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response to a grievance, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Children

The Website and our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact contact@servvia.in and we will delete it.

12. Other websites

The Website links to other sites, including dox.servvia.in, which has its own Privacy Policy and Terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites run by others.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
